Will Smith stars as the last man on earth, only not really because there are shadow zombies and also some spoilers. We watched the alternate ending (aka, the original pre-test audience ending), on the advice that it was better than the theatrical ending — and it was, the theatrical ending leaves way too much stuff unexplained and incoherent. But it still wasn’t a very good ending, and it leaves things drifting in at least two different directions, unsatisfyingly.

Decent enough movie, and great visuals of post-plague New York, but they tried to add one too many plotlines to the story and the result is just a mishmash.
