In 2016, inspired by watching a Criterion movie on Hulu, I decided that I should quit wasting my time watching disposable junk, and actually watch some “great” movies. The Sight & Sound list gets updated every ten years. When the 2022 version came out, I decided to catch up on the newly-added movies that I hadn’t yet watched. As they published a list of 250 this time around (due to having more critics participating), I kept going past the top 100. You’ll notice that a bunch of movies near the bottom still don’t have reviews; that’s because as I write this, I’m still in the middle of the list.
