This is an Alfred Hitchcock movie. The thing about old movies is, so much of the time, they’re really obvious. Oh, it’s a James Bond movie (even if it’s the one that’s setting the archetype) so you know what’s going on, that sort of thing.

This, though, not predictable. Really, up until the last minute, it wasn’t clear how it was going to end (like, at all). It’s odd to watch a movie with no mental map for how the plot is going to develop. Highly recommended.

Weird thing: Jimmy Stewart. He’s like a caricature of himself! Who talks like that, other than Jimmy Stewart impersonators? It’s bizarre.
