So the other day, I was saying that there weren’t really classic action movies made any more, in that Die Hard/Bruckheimer mold, and people said, “Dude, Live Free or Die Hard.” To which I replied, “I already do, motherfuckers.”

But then I realized they were saying a movie title, so I netflixed it. Verdict: They were right! This is like 90% classic Die Hard mixed with 10% classic Bruckheimer, and it is all 100% old-fashioned. Like, I assume the effects were all CG because CG is cheap these days, but they didn’t have to be, if you follow.
