It’s hard to believe this is by the same guy who made 2012. Because where 2012 is gloriously over-the-top, this is well under the top; where 2012 is insanely, purposefully stupid, this is just regular stupid; and where 2012 is lots of fun, this is lots of yawn. Also, did they really make every character in the movie except the protagonists black? I think they did!
