This is a shitty, shitty movie. It is just one preposterous, ridiculous, long, dull action scene after another, in the service of nothing much in particular. It reuses practically whole scenes from the LOTR movies, and in general feels like third-rate imitative crap.

The sad thing is, these shitty-ass LOTR prequels are actually making me think less of the LOTR movies in the same way that the Star Wars prequels ruined Star Wars for a lot of people.

I really wish they would have stuck with having a non-Peter-Jackson person making these movies.
