So I watched It Follows. The movie did in fact make me feel horrible and tense. So, yay for doing what it’s supposed to do as a horror movie? And also, this confirms for me 100% that horror movies are Not My Thing.

Also, boy, I had some trouble with the plot logic. Like, this thing walks toward you at all times, right. And it’s just one thing. So obvs its speed isn’t totally consistent, but make estimates! If you drive 60 miles away, be all like “okay, it walks at between 1-2mph, so we have 30-60 hours of safety here before we need to move on.” But they made no effort to even be remotely systematic about things, and I’m not 100% sure the moviemakers were consistent either, which is kind of annoying. MATH CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE, PEOPLE.
