This is a movie you have probably passed up 1,000 times as looking completely forgettable. Because it does. And it kinda is? But the trailer looked interesting in a theatre some time ago, and Jess looked it up and the director (Shane Black) did a bunch of movies she liked, and we were looking for something to watch and critics said this was good, so hey.

So it’s like… a buddy action movie? With Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling? And a little girl? And it’s medium-funny and medium-actiony, and I think “pleasantly entertaining” is a good phrase to use to describe it.
