So, this is a movie that I wouldn’t have watched, except like every thing I’ve ever seen about it has said it’s totally awesome and rules and stuff, so we Netflixed it.

Verdict: It’s okay. It’s trying way too hard to be all mysterious and deep and enigmatic and “whoa, dude” and stuff, which is bad; and it lacks a sort of cohesion that’d mesh together all the story lines that otherwise just kind of rattle against each other aimlessly; but it’s got a good aesthetic going (with a genuinely creepy bunny suit), and the plot ends up mostly quasi-making sense in the end, and the actors are good (although I don’t like Gake Jyllenhall, actually, which is kind of a major exception), so it’s not like it’s bad.

Anyway, overhyped. See it if you feel like it and like that sort of movie, but don’t expect it to be all totally awesome like the reviews say, because it’s not.
