Leave No Trace
So this is a movie about a PTSD-suffering father who’s living out in the woods with his daughter because he can’t handle society, and what happens when society finds them again.
At various points, it looks like it’s going to go down one or another cliched road, but it never does. Instead, it ends up being a movie about kindness and empathy and community, and the limits of all those things. It’s quiet and spare, without any big dramatic moments, but full of little human ones. Recommended.
