So I mean, it’s a Bill and Ted movie, but (like all of us), it’s older and a little bit slower and a bit less optimistic than maybe we were thirty years ago.

But it’s also goofy fun. There’s a certain charm in seeing Keanu Reeves and The Other Guy reprising the mannerisms of their much younger selves, the movie has some legit laughs in it, and it’s got a fundamental sweetness at its core.

If you didn’t already want to watch it at it’s-in-pseudo-theater prices, probably you can wait for it to get to regular rental prices, but if you’ve enjoyed previous installments in the franchise, it’s worth a watch.
