Anthropophagous
So a boat full of young adults goes off on a trip to a Greek island… which turns out to be empty, with nobody in it. Why? Because the titular anthropophagous ate them all, apparently.
What I’ve just said makes more sense than anything in the movie, which is confusingly nonsensical, has characters whose movements and motivations are inscrutable, and where everyone does the stupidest possible thing at all moments.
It’s not a good movie in any conventional sense. But if we’re looking for kind things to say about it, it does have a cool landscape on a mountainous island full of picturesque ruins, and it does give off a kinda creepy vibe before it goes over the top into gross-out gory horror.
Not really recommended to anyone, but the title is pretty cool.
