So, we saw this already in the theatres, and it blew us away completely, but the question was: Would it do so on a second viewing (which we were too busy to ever get in the theatres)?

Verdict: Yep! I’d been sort of swayed, over the months since I saw it, into thinking, “Well, I really loved it, but maybe objectively it was just okay, like all the reviewers say,” but no. Still great.

Also, feature-length Jossentary. Spending an evening watching movies with Joss is always good shit. Also also: Deleted scenes, with extra bonus Jossentary. Wise choices for deletion, all of them, but only because they don’t fit with the shape of the movie, not because they’re bad scenes. In fact, one of the best lines in the movie is in a deleted scene, so worth watching.
