This is basically two movies:

  1. A documentary about global warming
  2. A documentary about Al Gore

The global warming part is basically a recording of a presentation that Gore apparently puts on regularly; it is enough to make you want to beat in the head of, say, Fred Barnes. If you’re not already the choir on this one, you should absolutely go see the movie.

The Al Gore part is a little more uneven; at times, it seems like a campaign film, talking about him growing up on a farm and what-not. Still, it’s not over-the-top that way, and it has moments of genuine tragedy (such as when it briefly goes over the 2000 election results).

Overall, a decent enough documentary. Not awesomely amazing or anything, but better than that fucking penguin movie.
