All I remember of this movie from the ’80s is that there was a little gopher puppet that I thought was hilarious. Rewatched now, I think:

  1. It has that “incredibly rambling narrative with little or no point” thing characteristic of ’80s movies. It seems like movies today need more focused story?
  2. It also has that slobs vs. snobs thing that was so prevalent in the ’80s. Ah, class warfare! Where have you gone?
  3. Also the gratuitous bosoms. Thanks, ’80s!
  4. Gopher puppets remain hilarious no matter how old you are.
