So, once again, I am forced to the conclusion that the reviewer’s cry of “it doesn’t make any sense” (or, in this case, the actor’s cry, too) is totally full of shit. It made perfect fucking sense! It even made the second movie make retroactive sense!

And it was actually pretty decent, too. Not great, but decent; better than the second for sure. It’s difficult to compare with the first, because you lose the novelty value; I think the first was better for that reason, but purely as a movie, this one certainly seemed more narratively involving and surprising.

So if all the horrid reviews scared you away, don’t let them, because it’s fine.
