Children of Men
This is your basic post-apocalyptic dystopian future with a band of plucky plucks plucking away at the system. It’s well-done and all, but it feels very conventional, like it was filmed on the discarded set of six earlier versions of this movie. Also, it was a very tight-focus movie, which is fine and all, but I want to see more of the big picture; it’s hard to get a sense for what the actual consequences of all the action in the movie were. Pretty solid, but not as good as Minority Report.
